HODRA – HO Drag Racers Association

As you’ve read (or will after you read this), my friend Rocky Marciano, who started this site passed away very suddenly in January of this year. Rocky started Hodra.org years before I knew him and only w/ in the last few years did I help him w/ it. Even then, the site and content was all Rocky.

Since his passing, I’ve been asked by several people to keep it going in his memory. My plan is to do just that. I am currently trying to determine a plan for content, but technologically we can do whatever we want. I say ‘we’ because this site and the content needs to be about the people who have used the site in the past and want to have a site which helps introduce new people to the hobby and keeps hobbyist informed of what’s happening in the hobby.

I’ve put together a short questionnaire to start gathering information. Please, please, please take a minute to fill it out and forward to another hobbyist too.

We’re starting a new directory of services and tracks. Submit your information to: directory@hodra.org

Be sure to include: the name of the service, website or track, contact information and any logos or graphics.

There have been some inquiries about HODRA.org and requests to continue the site. Rocky would have been honored to hear this support. I will be looking over the next several weeks to make a plan to continue HODRA. If you have suggestions for content or direction or would like to contribute, please contact me via email.
